Andréa Philippon

Andréa Philippon is a French digital artist based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a multidisciplinary background in multimedia. Inspired by the vegetal and fungi kingdoms, he creates surreal, dreamlike worlds that blend reality with digital aesthetics. 

Andréa calls himself a digital florist: his colourful, vibrant visuals enhance and reinterpret nature, capturing its essence and elegance. Through his unique perspectives on natural evolution and possible futures, he invites viewers to reflect on the beauty and fragility of the living world and humanity's interaction with it. 

Influenced by a range of contemporary artists, Andréa draws particular inspiration from modern masters like Antoni Gaudí, Alphonse Mucha, and Pierre-Joseph Redouté.

On the music scene, he has collaborated with renowned artists, creating visuals for shows by David Guetta, Björk, and Black Coffee.

Andréa collaborates with Typotheque on projects that create digital representations of critically endangered and extinct plants, raising awareness about threatened flora and vulnerable languages around the world.
