"With a focus on serenity, simplicity, and silence, I expertly craft visual impact through my unique perspective on nature. Fascinated by remote places and desolate landscapes, I aim to capture their essence in a conceptual and evocative manner."

  1. Claire Droppert is a Dutch fine art photographer, whose artistic journey began with her early experiences near the Dutch coastlines, deeply influencing her thematic focus on natural elements and weather extremes.

  2. She transitioned from graphic design to digital conceptual art, eventually establishing herself as a prominent photographer and visual artist.

  3. Her work emphasises minimalism; and a unique editing style creates dreamy, ethereal images that convey tranquillity and silence–indeed, Droppert defines her oeuvre as capturing "Sounds of Silence".

  4. When she saw her daughter throwing sand in the air, Droppert came up with the idea behind "Sand Creatures", the first series in her larger "Gravity" project. "The explosive and at times powdery scenes of the grainy sand being thrown into the air can be taken as a manifesting life form, and they become sand creatures"–explained the artist.

  5. The Gravity project portrays the diverse elements of the earth in their pristine environments, captured in moments of weightlessness.
