David Lisser is a UK-based artist who uses 3D scanning tools to explore how digital
interfaces simulate the natural world, and how computer vision can lead to new
interpretations of what we see. His practice encompasses sculptures, digital renders, and
short videos, focusing on 3D scanning, environmental issues, and the simulation of
physical experiences. Lisser has shown work at Uncommon Gallery, Beijing
Contemporary, BALTIC, Calgary Contemporary, MIMA, Centre for Study of Existential Risk,
The Newbridge Project, Watershed and Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art among
others.
